Job Summary

The Bioastronautics Lab welcomes applications for a temporary researcher. This job will assist in collecting data for our human-subject research studying human autonomy teaming. You will help collect data in our spacecraft cock-pit mock-up to finalize the data collection needed for this project. The role will also facilitate our NASA end-of-year review in a Capstone demonstration highlighting the prior 5 years of work for the team.

Who We Are

Professor Hayman is a faculty member in the Bioastronautics Lab at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her team studies human health and performance in extreme environments, with a particular emphasis on human spaceflight.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Perform research on human-autonomy teaming using physiological sensors.
Facilitate research demonstrations from multiple collaborators across several universities.
Perform human-subject experiments.
Contribute to research dissemination.

What We Can Offer

The hire rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Benefits

What We Require

Undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering.

What You Will Need

Experience in human-subject experiments, statistics, data collection, and data analysis.
