Responsibilities*
Abstract health information from participating patient's paper or electronic medical record from area hospitals; enter abstracted data into standard data collection tool.

Approach patients to identify caregivers and enroll caregivers and controls

Conduct baseline interviews of identified patients and caregivers

Conduct outcome interviews of caregivers and patients

Schedule participant appointments and conduct phone calls for reminder, scheduling, interview, and data collection purposes (including calling participants throughout the study to ascertain their location (home vs. rehab))

Setup study material for scheduled participant interviews; organizes and maintains collected participant research data.

Participate in weekly research meetings and communicates routine correspondence in regards to abstraction and interview status

Identify and record available community resources for caregivers

Required Qualifications*
High school graduation or associates degree.

Desired Qualifications*
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred to serve Spanish-speaking population. Research experience and/or minimum of 2 years college preferred.

Work Locations
This position is located in Corpus Christi, Texas.
