Responsibilities*
Temporary position teaching music and art classes for the Summer Vocal Academy of Music: Junior Academy (July 8-19) and/or Senior Academy (July 15-26).

Summer Vocal Academy of Music Instructor compensation is $900.00 per class.
Summer Vocal Academy of Music Choir Conductor compensation (Junior or Senior Academy choir) is $1500

The Summer Vocal Academy of Music Instructors will teach music classes offered in the Academy curriculum, ranging from choir, men's and women's ensemble, vocal technique, music theory, musical theater, percussion, and others. The Academy director will assign the specific classes based on the candidates experience and qualifications, and the needs of the Junior/Senior Academy.

Candidates must be available for the duration of the Academy that they have been appointed to teach and for the closing concert on Friday, July 19 at 6 pm and/or Friday, July 26 at 6 pm.

Required Qualifications*
Bachelor degree in music; minimum of 2 years teaching experience; experience teaching at the Summer Vocal Academy preferred.

Desired Qualifications*
Previously worked with summer music camps.
