The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology invites applications for a Field Researcher!We are seeking one person to perform field research with red squirrels in the Yukon Territory of Canada.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Duties will include live trapping and handing of red squirrels, behavioral observations, radio-telemetry and data entry.
The candidate will be responsible for independent data collection, data entry and data checking.

The work will be done in a remote field camp.

What We Can Offer

The hiring rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.

Benefits

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require

The successful candidate must has a Bachelor's degree, at least one year of experience working in a research environment, an interest in field research, independent problem-solving skills, and an interest in pursuing a graduate degree.
