Job Summary
We're looking for someone to lead our annual giving, stewardship, and alumni engagement activities. You will be a part of a larger advancement team encompassing development and alumni relations, marketing and communications, and career and professional development. You will develop annual fund appeals, send acknowledgement letters, and plan new stewardship activities; support our Alumni Council; and provide student-centered philanthropy education and programs. You enjoy meeting new people and developing ongoing relationships with them. You are comfortable asking people to donate money to the college.

Responsibilities*
Annual Giving:

Analyze available data to create a comprehensive annual giving strategy
Write and design annual appeals for email, direct mail, social media, and phone campaigns
Serve as the liaison to University Annual Giving and Reporting Information Analysis teams
Increase student awareness and participation in philanthropy by planning activities like Giving Blueday, Hail Yeah!, new student orientation, Becoming Alumni BBQ
Write remarks for college leadership, including the dean, for alumni and donor-related events and programs

Stewardship:

Execute stewardship efforts and produce weekly acknowledgement letters for donors
Produce specialized stewardship materials for scholarship donors
Assist with stewardship strategies for high-end donors, including individualized mementos and letters
Update stewardship and other interactions in DART, record student scholarship information in DART

Alumni Council:

Provide administrative support and serve as the main contact for the Alumni Council, coordinate conference calls and biannual meetings on campus
Track and manage council members' philanthropic engagement
Work with the director of development on individualized and council-wide engagement strategies for members

Required Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Demonstrated ability to execute projects

Desired Qualifications*

2 or more years experience in development-related work
Familiarity with DART
