Job Summary
The National Center for School Safety (NCSS) seeks an organized and qualified candidate to assist in the coordination and implementation of training and technical assistance. The Administrative Coordinator will coordinate the logistics of webinars, regional trainings, video production, and learning exchange activities, as well as assisting with the development of training and technical assistance materials and resources. The Coordinator will also provide support for the Virtual Help Line, a phone, online chat and email resource for questions about training and technical assistance and will assist with the evaluation and research activities for the Center.

Responsibilities*
  • Assist with coordinating webinars, regional training events and learning exchange activities
  • Assist with training preparation and production
  • Provide technical assistance and referrals on the Virtual Help Line
  • Assist with maintenance of the website content and social media
  • Provide project assistance to communications, training and research teams as needed

Required Qualifications*
Bachelors degree and 1-2 years of work experience. Experience with event planning, including planning conferences and/or trainings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to adapt to new situations and solve problems. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Proficient with Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and other Office software. Experience using social media and other technology. Interest in school safety, positive youth development or related fields.
