Job Summary
Program Management
The Program Manager, Connect2Health (C2H), manages the daily operations, strategic initiatives, and community partnerships of Connect2Health, a high-impact experiential learning program within U Career Success in the Office of Undergraduate Studies. Connect2Health engages undergraduate students in addressing social determinants of health by connecting patients with community resources and support services through partnerships with healthcare and community organizations. The program provides students with meaningful service-learning experiences that foster leadership development, community engagement, and preparation for careers in healthcare and related fields.
The Program Manager oversees volunteer and student leadership development, program assessment, compliance processes, community resource systems, and partner engagement. This position works collaboratively with leadership, healthcare providers, community organizations, and student leaders to ensure effective program delivery, continuous improvement, and sustainable growth.
Direct/Manage/Supervise the design and implementation of programs that carry out the mission of the university. Develop strategies and goals to create programs offering the greatest impact to the community. Determine short- and long-term program plans to meet organization goals. Oversee the coordination and daily work activities of the programs. Represent the interest of assigned program participants, both inside and outside of the organization. Manage volunteers, members, and staff.

Responsibilities
Manager, Program Management
- Manage all aspects of Connect2Health program operations.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and retention of student volunteers.
- Recruit, train, and supervise student leaders.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with healthcare organizations, community agencies, and university stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Connect2Health and partner organizations.
- Identify, cultivate, and expand clinical and community partnerships to support program growth and student engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with existing and prospective partners to assess needs, enhance program impact, and identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
- Ensure student volunteers meet institutional and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of community resource referral systems and databases.
- Monitor program outcomes and maintain records related to volunteer participation, service hours, referrals, and engagement.
- Develop and implement program assessment and continuous improvement processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations for university leadership and external partners.
- Manage budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Identify and support funding, grant, and partnership opportunities.
- Support strategic planning and program growth initiatives aligned with university priorities.
- Represent Connect2Health at campus and community events, meetings, and partner activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills.Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Manager, Program Management: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
Preferences
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Higher Education, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working in healthcare, community-based organizations, or higher education.
- Experience managing volunteer programs and student leadership initiatives.
- Knowledge of social determinants of health and community resource navigation.
- Experience with partnership development, grant support, and program evaluation.
