As Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement, you'll help design and deliver dynamic campaigns that elevate school spirit, drive attendance, and build lasting connections between UVU and its supporters. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of marketing and ticketing initiatives for assigned sports, collaborate with campus and community partners, and see your ideas come to life in a fast-paced, game-day environment.

Summary of Responsibilities
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a directly related field and two years of experience related to the Summary of Duties; OR a combination of education and/or experience totaling six years.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge
- Principles and best practices of sports marketing, branding, and fan engagement.
- Ticket sales strategies, pricing models, and revenue generation techniques in collegiate athletics.
- Game presentation and event operations, including promotions and live entertainment elements.
- Integrated marketing concepts, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and content strategy.
- Understanding of NCAA regulations and the intercollegiate athletics environment.
- Data analysis and reporting methods to evaluate campaign performance and attendance trends.
- Budget development and management fundamentals.
- University systems, stakeholder structures, and community engagement practices.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills for marketing and ticketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, sponsors, and community partners.
- Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sports and priorities.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Creativity in developing fan engagement initiatives and promotional concepts.
- Proficiency in marketing platforms and tools (CRM systems, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing tools, etc.).
- Leadership and team coordination skills to guide interns, staff, and game-day personnel.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to lead and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns from concept through evaluation.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with campus departments, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
- Ability to drive attendance growth and revenue outcomes through innovative strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic athletics and game-day environments.
- Ability to evaluate campaign performance and continuously improve outcomes.
- Ability to represent UVU Athletics professionally and uphold brand standards.
- Ability to work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends tied to athletic events.
