Job Summary
This position is for a Temporary Researcher to assist in the Burdick Lab's development of engineered heart tissue models, performing work such as transcriptomics, stem cell differentiation, and functional readouts of tissues.
The overall focus of work in the Burdick laboratory is the design of new biomaterials that can be processed through fabrication methodologies to meet the needs of medicine, ranging from translational therapeutics to tissue models of health and disease.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Cell culture.
- Running experiments related to the engineered heart tissues.
- Analyzing data, including with statistical analysis.

What We Can Offer
The hire rate for this part-time position is $20.00 per hour.
Benefits

What We Require
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical & Biological Engineering or a related field.
- Some coursework training in chemical and biomedical engineering.
What You Will Need
- Experience working with engineered heart tissue models, including calcium analysis and histological analysis of formed tissues.
