The School of Education & Human Development (SEHD) at the University of Colorado Denver is looking for an experienced HR professional to join a small, collaborative team that supports the people and programs of the school. The Human Resources team works with faculty, staff, students, and leadership across SEHD, balancing day-to-day operations with thoughtful support for teaching, learning, and student success. This role offers the chance to do meaningful, hands-on HR work in an academic environment that values collaboration, respect, and shared purpose

What you will do:
Under the guidance and direction of the Manager of HR and Payroll, this position will perform the following duties:
Communication
HR Administration
Recruitment Support
oCreate, maintain and close out job requisitions.
oChange status for applicants as they move through the review process.
Student Employment Coordination
Data Tracking & Reporting
Payroll & Leave Management
Documentation & Process Management
This position involves working closely with students where the person may become aware of campus safety issues that may need to be reported as part of CU's commitment to compliance with the Clery Act. The person in this role will receive the related training and be required to submit data once per year to the campus Clery Act team. Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $59,400 - $63,957
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
