Join our dynamic Dining Services team at Williams College!

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality dining experiences for our community.

Pay: Ranges from $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Position: This is a 40-hour per week, 12-month position, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager for Mission Park.

Schedule: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm Sunday, 12:00 - 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department.

Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation and ensure safe food handling and service.
Focus on creating, preparing, and serving high-quality food.
Follow pre-established menus and recipes with attention to accuracy in allergens, food quality, preparation, temperatures, tastes, appearance, and garnishing.
Maintain overall sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
Ensure allergen labels are accurate and accessible.
Collaborate with First and Second Cooks under daily supervision.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of relevant kitchen experience is strongly preferred.
General knowledge of food service is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills and ability to relate to diverse customers and staff professionally.
Basic math skills, scheduling flexibility, and the ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds.
