Position Description

Temporary employees provide short-term support to various departments at Seattle University. Temporary positions are often administrative support roles; however, there is occasional need for professional-level or specialized temporary positions as well. Qualifications

Most roles in the temporary pool require a high school diploma and three or more years of progressive clerical or office support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

Some roles may require a bachelor's degree. Previous experience working in higher education is a plus. Depending on the role, preferred candidates will possess the following highly desirable qualifications and skills: excellent communication and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows; and experience with various university systems. Individual temporary postings will provide details about specific requirements.

Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting.
