Job Summary


This temporary position incorporates administration, community partnership, facilitation, curriculum development and graphic design, and evaluation of the As You Are prevention program. This position is expected to work 30-40 hours per weeks, and is not expected to continue past May 31, 2026.

The Crown Institute's research focuses on practices, programs, and policies that foster wellness among children and youth, families and caregivers, educators, and mental health and health providers. Scholars in multiple fields work together and in partnership with families, teachers, young people, and community members.


What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


President's Leadership Class Partnership

Point person for President's Leadership Class (PLC)
  • Coordinate with PLC team
  • Develop a partnership agreement (with help from Crown Institute team)
  • Continue to identify shared goals
  • Refine project proposal with purpose, structure, and deliverables

Revise and update curriculum
  • Review and adapt modules for PLC context
  • Review relevant research as needed
  • Seek feedback from PLC and As You Are teams
  • Design and maintain thrival guide and other As You Are materials

Implement As You Are with PLC
  • Help coordinate Industry night
  • Deliver "Deep Dive" to PLC students
  • Develop plan for follow up facilitation skills training
  • Engage in supervision meetings

Evaluate and reflect
  • Develop program evaluation questions
  • Synthesize feedback and reflect about next steps

Collaborate and provide updates to As you Are team for above areas of work
  • This may include co-working meetings for curriculum development
  • This may also include consultation for other As You Are programming
    • Internship program
    • Health ed guest lectures
    • Middle school groups
    • New Vista Workshop

Plan and schedule project
  • Create semester timeline
  • Develop milestones, goals, and sequencing specific tasks
  • Update with Asana and Teams
  • Track progress and clarify scope
  • Provide internal updates to point person

Additional administrative tasks
  • Develop consent form
  • Work with team to identify and complete administrative activities, such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, and purchasing necessary materials (in coordination with team members)
  • Manage administrative policies and procedures for the University including but not limited to compliance reporting and maintaining appropriate certifications (e.g. CU safeguarding, background checks if needed, CITI, etc.)

Graphic design and online curriculum development
  • Update program materials using AYA style guide
  • Assist in strategic planning and preparation for online AYA curriculum

Co-design of internship program
  • Help to create learning objective and co-design process for internship
  • Assist in hiring interns
