The Leeds School of Business encourages applications for a Program Manager, Specialized Programs! This role reports to the Associate Director, Specialized Programs and is tasked with supervising and managing the day-to-day operations for BEWiT (Business & Engineering Women in Technology) and supporting all specialized programs. The position will also support the Associate Director, Specialized Programs, with tasks and responsibilities related to the Leeds Scholars Program, Computer Science Integration Program, and other specialized programs. The Program Manager is responsible for managing administrative components and programmatic elements to include supporting student success through coaching, thoughtful internal and external communication, planning programs and events, creating an inclusive environment, promoting programs and events, and in the recruitment and matriculation of students to Leeds.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Program Management & Administration
- Coordinate and manage all BEWiT programming -- oversight of all events, student advising, assisting in the management of program budgets, securing guest speakers, and engaging with industry and corporate partners.
- Partner with Leeds Faculty, Leeds Advancement, and partners in Engineering to coordinate and co-facilitate sections of the Women in Business course to ensure delivery of the different leadership aspects from successful business leaders who will speak to the class.
- Integrate professional insights and external partnerships into programming to strengthen students' career preparedness and bridge classroom learning with real-world application.
- Partner with the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences to create impactful relationships and opportunities for student professional growth.
- Work with the Associate Director to ensure program vision aligns with critical initiative planning goals and execution of program events/workshops.
- Provide leadership in instructing a first-year global experience course for specialized programming.
- Coordinate with the Associate Director to help manage all aspects of the budget.
- Recruit students.
- Formalize an appropriate scholarship allocation fund.
- Plan the in-country student experience while focusing on personal, professional, and cultural growth.
- Forge relationships with key constituents at the University of Colorado Boulder to help deliver on program objectives and goals.
- Assist the Associate Director with tasks, including event planning and execution, student advising, and others as needed, related to other specialized programs and Leeds events.
- Regular reporting of program statistics and student success.
Student Coaching and Support
- Meet with students regularly to provide program support, general mentoring, and resources that will prepare them to successfully engage in their professional development.
- Ensure an exceptional student experience, regularly measured and supervised.
- Have a thorough understanding of CU Resources to properly refer students when necessary.
- Work with student club leaders (among others) to help complete organizational goals.
- Research various case competitions and other events at various universities and provide recommendations for any growth opportunities within programming.
- Leverage professional experience and industry network to connect students with opportunities, insights, and skills that enhance their job readiness and career confidence.
Outreach and Promotion
- Assist in the promotion and recruitment for specialized programs & BEWiT - work with the Associate Director and the Leeds and College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) admissions teams to strategically develop and implement recruitment and yield strategies.
- Partner with Leeds Marketing, the Leeds Recruitment team, and the CEAS teams to coordinate program communication through a variety of mediums, including email, web, social media, and collateral materials.
- Represent specialized programs at prospective and admitted student days and other events as needed.
- Research peer institution programs to ensure Leeds provides a competitive advantage and gives an exceptional experience to students in the programs.
- Implement creative campaigns to increase the applicant pool for specialized programming for business and engineering.
Course Coordination and Facilitation
- Create course curriculum for the BEWiT section of the first-year global experience class.
- Coordinate with Leeds Faculty and co-facilitate sections of the Women in Business seminar course.
- Work with Leeds Advancement and other CU constituents to help schedule speakers for the class.
- Assume full responsibility for the curricular creation and implementation of a first-year global experience for specialized programming.
What You Should Know
- This position is in a hybrid work situation, with 3 days/week in office.
- The schedule requires evening and weekend workshops (5-10 evenings/weekend days per semester).
- Occasional travel required (approximately 2-3 times per year, including international travel).
What We Can Offer
$55,000-$60,000. Relocation assistance is available within Leeds guidelines.

What We Require
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution. Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
- Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience liaising with industry contacts.
