Job Summary

Performs clerical and manual work involved in the receiving, inspecting, recording, storing.. Ensures that an available supply of commonly used goods is stocked for various University departments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate receiving, delivery and shipping of goods from the Eccles Broadcast Center.
Must update shipping logs, work with the building stakeholders, and maintain a consistent schedule.
The shipping and delivery schedule is from 0900am-1500pm M-F.
Must be able to drive a university vehicle to deliver and pickup goods as needed after the shipping schedule.
Assist with building maintenance duties, as needed.
Courier deliveries several times a week is part of the weekly duties using a university car.

Minimum Qualifications
The ability to move or manipulate heavy objects; the ability to read and write in English; demonstrated human relation skills; and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required. A knowledge of inventory control procedures would be helpful. Six months storeroom experience or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education) preferred. A valid Utah Driver's license with proof of insurability may be required for persons in positions that require delivery.
