Job Summary

Under the immediate supervision of the Associate AD, Marketing Strategy & Fan Engagement, the incumbent will support the day-to-day activities of the Athletics Marketing Department and assist with coordinating and implementing game-day logistics by performing a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with game-day operations, including setup, promotions, and coordination with event staff.
  • Assist in coordinating social media schedules and updates, ensuring consistent content aligned with the marketing strategy.
  • Contribute to sport-specific marketing plans and game-day promotions.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and inventory management.

Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field. Relevant education and/or experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Prior NCAA Division In marketing and promotion experience in collegiate or professional athletics preferred.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.

CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4,570 (Step 1) - $6,658 (Step 20) per month.
Time Base

1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.
Duration of Appointment

This is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
