Orthopaedic Pediatric Surgeon/Tenure Track - Rank dependent on qualifications

The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an opening for a faculty position as a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon. The new faculty member will join a dynamic and successful pediatric orthopaedic team within an outstanding academic orthopaedic department. The position will entail work in clinical and research programs at two neighboring facilities for children and principally at our Level 2 center in Lehi, Utah. The appointment will be at a rank appropriate to the candidate on the tenure-track.

Minimum requirements include completion of a residency in orthopaedic surgery and one year of advanced fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery. Principal clinical work will be in general pediatric orthopaedics, fractures and scoliosis, taking call at both Level 1 and 2 centers. Candidates should be team players and will have a desire to develop and mentor others in the field. A successful candidate will have demonstrated exceptional academic interest and a clear record of excellence in all aspects of orthopaedics including clinical care, education and clinical or basic science research.
