Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Director of the Office of Institutional Engagement (OIE), the Coordinator of OIE supports the Director in the design and implementation of initiatives and programs out of the office, including employee education and mentoring, and continuous improvement through assessment strategies. This role works closely with the Director for the delivery of workshops, events, and initiatives that advance workforce engagement and professional development. The Coordinator ensures consistent tracking and analysis of program data, particularly focusing on the department's learning management system (LMS) and mentoring program customer relationship management (CRM) platform. A central part of this role will be to collaborate with key campus stakeholders for cross-departmental and cross-functional programming. The position also leads efforts to promote system and process standardization across the university through training and educational sessions. The Coordinator may supervise, directly or indirectly, graduate assistants, student workers, practicum students, and/or interns.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director to create, implement, and assess OIE employee engagement opportunities for employee training and development
- Design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for collecting and analyzing program data, ensuring quality and reliability
- Lead assessment and optimization of the LMS used for employee education and the CRM used for the mentoring program to identify and address skills and knowledge gaps
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and assess campus-wide program initiatives, such as the Employee Engagement Survey, Extended Employee Orientation, and the University Mentoring Program
- Develop and deliver workshops and educational sessions to university departments to promote effective use of standardized systems and processes
- Prepare dashboards, reports, presentations, and other media and print materials that communicate program outcomes and alignment with leadership scorecards and strategic goals
- Provide administrative oversight and management of the operations of the Office
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
- Two (2) or more years of related work experience which could include professional work experience, graduate assistantship experience, and/or appropriate collegiate experience
- Presentation or facilitation experience
- Experience in data analysis, assessment design, and reporting, preferably within educational or professional development contexts
- Experience in program or event coordination, preferably in an educational or professional development setting
- Familiarity with LMS and CRM platforms, or ability to quickly learn specialized software

Proposed Salary
$20.71 - $23.79 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis
