Job Summary

TYPO Lab encourages applications for a temporary Lab Assistant! This role will help with lab set up, workshops, and demonstrations. Applicants will work with historical and modern text-based technologies, ranging from letterpress to digital fabrication tools. The position offers hands-on experience in both traditional and emerging text-based media production techniques.

What You Should Know

This is a part-time, temporary position. We expect the hours to range from 3 to 5 per week and anticipate the assignment lasting 2 months.

What We Can Offer

The hourly rate for this position is $25/hr.

Benefits

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

What You Will Need

Knowledge of Typography
Proficiency and experience in Adobe Illustrator
Familiarity and experience with 3D fabrication tools
