Job Summary


The Gao Group at JILA and CU Boulder is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work at the interface of computational chemistry, quantum chemistry, and quantum computing. The position will focus on developing and applying quantum algorithms for chemical problems, with the goal of advancing methods for quantum simulation of molecular systems.

The project will be carried out in JILA's collaborative research environment, offering opportunities to work across chemistry, physics, and quantum information science.

What We Can Offer


  • The salary range for this full-time position is $68,000 - $70,000 annually.
  • If applicapable, this position also offers support with moving expenses. Reimbursement: up to $2,000.

What We Require


  • A Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in computational and quantum chemistry.
  • Experience with quantum computing platforms or algorithms.
