The College invites applications for a Student Exploration Coordinator. Student Exploration Team

The Student Exploration team will help students access year-round experiential learning and professional development opportunities both on and away from campus. The team will advise students on the process of securing campus employment opportunities while also helping students understand how these opportunities can enhance their skill development and allow them to explore career possibilities.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Dean & Director, Student Exploration, the Student Exploration Coordinator will focus on helping Brown University students access experiential learning and professional opportunities both on and off campus. They will be responsible for providing coordination and support of Student Exploration programming which provides funding and support to internships that students find in a variety of key industries. In addition, they will, along with the Assistant Dean and Director of Student Exploration and the Associate Director of Student Exploration, provide administrative support for the Summer and Semester Projects for Research, Internships, and Teaching (SPRINT) funding program to provide students with equitable access to research and internship funding for summer opportunities.

Major Responsibilities
  • Support operational aspects of Summer and Semester Projects for Research, Internships, and Teaching (SPRINT)
  • Manage operational aspects of the Winternship Program
  • Support for Assigned Student Exploration and Center Initiatives


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

8

Additional Information:

This is a fixed term, 30 hour per week seasonal position with an end date of December 12, 2025. Work schedule is to be determined in consultation with managing supervisor.
