Basic Function

This is a temporary, professional expert opportunity.

Representative Duties

Work with identified offices within Student Services on a variety of assorted projects to support the overall efforts of the Office of Student Life and the needs of the individual areas within Student Services.

Assist Students Of Concern interns with Maxient training

Communicate with students and staff regarding Students Of Concern related issues and questions

Students Of Concern related projects will be assigned by the Dean of Students to assist in the ongoing efforts of the office. Projects will expose the Students Of Concern Liaison to working with student/faculty/staff trainings, students of concern, and student assistance referrals.

Other projects or duties will be determined and identified throughout the semester through a combination of departmental needs and to match the Students of Concern Liaison's interests, skill areas, and professional development goals.

Communicating with students/staff regarding Students Of Concern issues and questions.

Creating social media and literature for students to understand how to be safe on campus.

Other duties as assigned related to this position

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to high school diploma.

Salary
Kern Community College District Salary Schedules
$25.00/hour
