SMU's Cox School of Business invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track professor position in the Information Technology and Operations Management (ITOM) Department. We welcome applications from advanced assistant professors with strong pre-tenure records, as well as associate and full professors with established post-tenure achievements. All candidates should demonstrate a robust pipeline of ongoing research. In addition to conducting high quality research targeted at publication in premier academic journals, faculty will be expected to participate in university service and to deliver high-quality instruction in courses across the School's undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, which include online teaching. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in artificial intelligence and data management. Women, minorities, veterans and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree) in Information Systems, Business Analytics and/or Operations Management.
Preferred qualifications: Applicants for senior positions must have significant experience post-Ph.D., as well an established pipeline of papers in the journal review process, an established publication record in top-tier academic journals, substantial teaching experience and demonstrated teaching excellence, record of professional service and leadership in the field and promise for continued high-quality research and teaching. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level must have experience post-PhD, a strong research record and a well-established pipeline of papers in the journal review process.

The ITOM faculty will conduct initial interviews at the INFORMS National Meeting in October 2025, as well as virtually through Zoom.
