In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $70,857.60 Annually
Maximum $75,857.60 Annually

Job Summary

The Senior Quality Informatics Analysts participates and leads projects associated with Quality and the gathering, dissemination and analysis of data for the purpose of supporting clinical business decisions as well as operation and internal process improvement initiatives in an effort to improve quality of care, patient experiences and clinical outcome across the WesternU Health system. The Senior Quality Informatics Analyst will present information across different levels of the organization regarding health care quality measure including HEDIC, STARS, CMS, etc.

Able to communicate in a professional manner with others, in person, in writing and utilizing a telephone/video conferencing.
Must possess strong organizational, and administrative abilities and be able to act effectively as a leader, a reliable resource, and an active member of a team.
Able to handle detail-oriented assignments and maintain confidentiality.
Able to work independently with very little direction and be able to manage multiple projects at once.
Understanding of healthcare quality measures HEDIS, STARS, CMS, etc.
Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience related to quality improvement in health care or within a data analysis role.
Health Clearance: Must submit all required health related documents prior to employment. May be required to maintain annual records for items such as TB clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree
Licensure: None Required, an active LVN or RN license in the State of California is strongly preferred.
Experience: Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
