Position Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator for the Achieving Optimal Childhood, Adolescence and Young Adulthood (A-OCAY): An integrated, holistic, and community-engaged model for interprofessional behavioral health workforce education and training in the Evergreen State grant. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating grant project activities, collecting trainee data, liaising with university and community partners, monitoring grant deliverables, contributing to required progress reports, and assisting to establish and manage the new continuing education program. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, project management, and basic financial skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. This position is under the supervision of the Project Director, Dr. Tam Dinh. This is a grant-funded, benefit-eligible position with an end date of 6/30/2029.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Coordinate project activities: Plan and organize project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of project plans.
  • Collect trainee data: Work with the Project Director to design and implement data collection processes to gather information from trainees participating in the project.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trainee data.
    Liaise with university and community partners:
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project team (MSW, MACFT, PMHNP faculty and staff) and community partners.
  • Coordinate communication, collaboration, and information exchange between project team and community partners.
  • Collaborate with MSW, MACFT, and PMHNP field coordinators to ensure trainees are placed in training sites
    Work with trainees to ensure grant requirements are met (commitment letter, NPI, outcome data collection)
  • Monitor grant deliverables: Track project progress and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables outlined in the grant proposal. Work with the Project Director to prepare and submit progress reports to funding agencies.
  • Write reports: Compile and analyze project data to create comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders. Present findings, outcomes, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner. Work with the Project Director and
  • Office of Sponsored Research to prepare financial reports related to project expenses and budget utilization.
  • Manage the continuing education process: Develop and implement strategies to facilitate continuing education opportunities for project participants. Coordinate workshops, seminars, and other educational activities. Evaluate the effectiveness of the continuing education program and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage trainee payments: Coordinate trainee payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work closely with the Project Director, CON Budget Director and Office of Sponsored Research to process trainee stipends, reimbursements, or other financial arrangements in compliance with project and grant requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, healthcare administration, social sciences).
  • Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of grant management processes and familiarity with grant compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial aspects of projects.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing continuing education programs is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Compensation at a Glance

Salary Range: $63,860

Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, and not based on a candidate's gender or any other protected status.

Hybrid Eligible

This position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after successful completion of an introductory work period of 3-6 months. This may mean that a hybrid eligible role will begin on-campus initially and then will transition to hybrid format following onboarding and training.
