Job Summary
Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field; or an equivalent amount of related, progressively advancing experience.
Two to four years of related experience required; four to six years of previous IT related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the day to day running of the NOC (Network Operations Center) desk with associated personnel and student team members.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferences
Exposure to requirements for regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, and FISMA.
Experience in supervising technical employees.
Experience leading successful IT projects in a research university and/or academic health care system.
Familiar with technology trends in networking. Examples include but are not limited to software defined networking (SDN), OpenFlow, IPv6 implementations, etc. Type Benefited Staff
Experience with network automation platforms and tools.
Experience with python.
Experience with Service Now, SolarWinds and Cisco Prime.
