The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The Senior Associate Athletics Director serves as a strategic member of the senior administrative team, working closely with the Director of Athletics to position BU Athletics for success in a rapidly evolving college athletics landscape.

Provides visionary oversight for student-athlete welfare, which includes academic, leadership, career development and performance & wellness initiatives.
Oversees and directs all academic, compliance, social and community related activities for student-athletes.
Develops and implements leadership, mentoring and career development programs for student-athletes, coaches and staff.
Serves as Deputy Title IX coordinator.
Serves as liaison to multiple on campus units, including but not limited to the Dean of Students, Admissions, Equal Opportunity Office, and wellness services.
Works closely with other members of the senior team and respective units to ensure that the objectives of the Director are accomplished.
Serves as sport administrator for assigned programs.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S. required. Master's Degree and at least eight years of administrative experience at a Division 1 level college/university is preferred.
