This role plays a key role in advancing the mission of Leeds Alumni Engagement by building lifelong connections between students, recent graduates, and the School. This position drives programs and communications that strengthen student-to-alumni transitions, deepen young alumni engagement, and inspire a culture of philanthropy.
The overarching goal: to ensure that every student, every year, has a meaningful connection with a Leeds alum-laying the foundation for a lifetime of engagement, pride, and support.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Program and Event Management
- Plan, implement, and evaluate 10+ signature events annually designed to connect current students and young alumni, such as:
- Senior Celebration, Business Buff Dinners, Business Buff Celebration, Women in Business, Global Networking Night, Buffs All In, and regional networking meetups.
- Strengthen the student-to-alumni transition through innovative programming that cultivates early engagement and sustained connection.
- Support Leeds-wide engagement and advancement initiatives including Homecoming, Leeds Launch Day, Graduation, Board events, and digital engagement efforts such as quarterly webinars.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Board and Dean's Society, including meeting coordination, communications, event logistics, member recruitment, and tracking participation and philanthropy.
- Identify and recruit young alumni volunteers to participate in panels, competitions, classroom visits, and mentorship activities across Leeds programs and student organizations (e.g., Office of Diversity Affairs, Career Development Office, Leeds Scholars, etc.).
- Support communications strategy for current students and recent alumni, including monthly newsletter support and ongoing storytelling efforts that highlight the impact of alumni engagement.
- Segment young alumni audiences, leading critical communications to drive engagement with school.
- Partner with Marketing & Communications to source and share compelling young alumni stories across Leeds digital channels.
- Oversee the BrightCrowd digital yearbook initiative for each graduating class, ensuring high participation and alignment with engagement goals.
- Use Salesforce/Ascend to supervise, measure, and analyze student and young alumni engagement metrics to support CASE metrics tracking, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with advancement reporting needs.
- Integrate philanthropic education and giving opportunities into alumni engagement events and communications.
- Own the planning and execution of Student Philanthropy Week / Thank a Donor Week to educate students about the impact of giving.
- Reinvent and manage the Senior Class Gift Campaign, crafting an important and lasting tradition that encourages future giving.
- Creative and collaborative professional with strong organizational, interpersonal, and storytelling skills.
- Passion for connecting people and building community through events, communications, and important experiences.
- Experience with alumni relations, advancement, or student engagement preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus.
What You Should Know
- This role is in a hybrid position working a mix of days on campus and remotely each week.
- There will be some night and weekend events that will be required.
What We Can Offer
The salary range is $50,000-$60,000 annually. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

What We Require
- Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Experience in alumni engagement, marketing, event planning, project management or other related experience.
What You Will Need
- Phenomenal relationship building skills.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
