Job Summary

The University of Colorado Boulder is searching for a Workshop/ Let's Talk Coordinator! This role provides a range of time-limited counseling and psychological services to university students. Services provided include group and individual psychotherapy, triage and drop-in/screening services, crisis management, workshops, and community outreach. This position coordinates CAPS' Workshop and Let's Talk program.CU Boulder CAPS is a training clinic, and as such, this position may provide formal or informal supervision to staff in training including Post-Master's Social Work Fellows; Psychology Interns, Psychology Practicum Students and/or Psychology Post-Doc Fellows.This position will collaborate with other campus departments as needed for the treatment of CAPS students and ensures individual experiences, identities, and systemic factors are considered in all assessment, treatment referral, and training services provided.This role's duties include collaborating with internal and external staff to schedule, organize, track, and manage the Workshop & Let's Talk programs; reporting on program updates and outcomes, and collaborating with the Group Coordinator to align offerings across services; reviewing and maintaining all procedures and protocols related to Workshop and Let's Talk services to ensure consistency and quality; supporting clinical staff in the development of new Workshop or Let's Talk offerings; working towards the ongoing assessment and improvement of these programs; and working with the training program to include staff in training offerings, fostering opportunities for professional development and diverse participation.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Clinical Services - Provides individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, screenings, Let's Talk, workshops, and consultation to students, staff, faculty, and parents. Services are primarily offered within a brief therapy framework. Maintains accurate and timely documentation via the EHR. Provides supervision and clinical consultation to CAPS trainees.Coordination/Training - Provides coordination of CAPS Workshop and Let's Talk program - with both continuous and training staff.Provides clinical consultation/supervision and training to all CAPS clinical staff regarding Workshops/ Let's Talk. Potentially provide individual, clinical supervision to trainees.Supervision and Administration - Completes clinical documentation, case management and case disposition; coordination of special projects or areas of responsibility. Attends staff and other CAPS meetings. May participate in campus committees or meetings as assigned.

What You Should Know

This position has the ability to work in a hybrid work modality and has an anticipated work schedule of Monday through Friday during regular business hours. This role is not expected to work University recognized holidays, weekends, or evenings and will not be on call at any time.

What We Can Offer

The salary range for this role is dependent on years of independent licensure and Education:

Master's degree: $71,500 - $89,392 annually.
Doctorate degree: $81,400 - $101,769 annually.

What We Require

Licensed mental health provider (Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the State of Colorado by the day of hire. For psychologists: Completion of an APA accredited program and internship.
1 year of licensure as an LCSW, Ph.D, Psy.D, LPC or LMFT.
At least 2 years of experience running a workshop or a psychotherapy group.
Experience with a range of clinical issues, ranging from developmental issues to more serious psychopathology.
Experience providing brief therapy.
Experience with electronic medical record-keeping and documentation.

What You Will Need

Demonstrated interest in the application and integration of social justice in counseling center work.
Knowledge of Federal and Colorado laws governing the practice of psychotherapy and privacy practices in post-secondary educational institutions.
Ability to collaborate with the campus community consisting of staff, students, and faculty.
Excellent social skills to create and maintain effective working relationships with administrators and a wide range of constituents, including faculty and staff.
Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, sound judgement, and maintain strict confidentiality in the performance of duties at all times.
