Min T/E Requirements:
Associate Degree in Human Services with 3 years experience in the delivery of social services or case management experience is required, with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program with 2 years post-BSW/MSW experience preferred.

The Department of Social Work seeks a dedicated and organized social work practitioner to serve as Field Placement Coordinator. Working closely with the Director of Field Education, this individual will support the coordination of both BSW and MSW student placements, working closely with students, faculty, and agency partners to ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate field experiences in alignment with CSWE accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Field Education to coordinate BSW and MSW student placements in approved field agencies.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for BSW and MSW students regarding field applications, placement matching, and orientation processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of placements, evaluations, and student progress for both programs using field placement management systems.
  • Assist field director in facilitating orientation sessions for students and field site supervisors.

Successful applicant's work schedule may include some weeknight work.


Management Preference:
Preferred requirements include:

  • Experience with agency collaboration and field instruction.
  • Familiarity with field education processes and CSWE accreditation standards.
  • Proficiency with database systems or student information systems.
  • Experience working in rural or underserved communities.
