(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Leads all IT staff recruitment efforts for the university, serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and IT leadership. Provides comprehensive recruitment services'including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and presenting qualified candidates'tailored to the specific needs of each hiring manager. Develops and executes strategic recruiting plans with minimal supervision, leveraging innovative sourcing techniques to attract top-tier talent in a competitive market.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Independently leads IT recruitment efforts across the university, delivering high-impact staffing solutions with minimal supervision.
2. Partners with hiring managers to secure top-tier talent through strategic planning and creative sourcing techniques.
3. Designs and executes tailored recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill and specialized IT roles.
4. Sources and engages passive candidates using innovative and proactive outreach methods.
5. Screens resumes and applications to identify high-potential candidates aligned with role requirements.
6. Conducts behavioral-based interviews via phone or in person to assess candidate fit and competencies.
7. Presents a curated slate of qualified candidates to hiring managers, providing insights and recommendations.
8. Coordinates and facilitates search committees, including training on behavioral interviewing, EEOC, and OFCCP compliance.
9. Collaborates with Director of Talent Acquisition to initiate offers and background screening process in alignment with KSU and USG policies
10. Collaborates with the Director of Compensation to identify compensation concerns that do not align with established compensation structure to ensure equitable, competitive salary offers.
11. Tracks and reports on hiring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to inform continuous improvement and provides weekly reports to IT leadership and Director of Talent Acquisition.
12. Maintains strong client relationships by delivering responsive, consultative support throughout the hiring process.
13. Ensures compliance with university policies and employment regulations while promoting inclusive hiring practices.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Human Resources, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience
Ten (10) years of experience in senior level IT recruitment hiring
Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
