Job Description Summary
Work Study - Student Data Assistant Position

Job Description

The Cancer Risk Evaluation Program at The Basser Center for BRCA at the University Pennsylvania sees hundreds of patients each year who have genetic mutations and/or inherited cancer susceptibility syndromes. We enroll many of these patients in research. We are looking for a Work Study Student Data Assistant interested in providing support for our clinical research program, which pertains primarily to breast cancer genetics. No previous experience is required.

We offer a unique environment that straddles the line between clinical work and research. If you are considering a career in either, this position will provide you with excellent perspective and exposure to clinical research data management. This position does not include lab work.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum commitment of a full academic year.
  • Ability to commit to a regular work schedule, with a preferred minimum of 10-15 hours per week, though we can build your work schedule around your classes and other commitments.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail.
