Job Summary:

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking an Instructor-level faculty member to contribute to the department mission through a blend of scholarly, programmatic, and strategic leadership. This position will utilize a public health perspective in the approach to research, program development, and program evaluation, ensuring that contributions are grounded in population health principles and aimed at addressing broader health disparities. The role is suited for individuals interested in academic and operational advancement, including quality improvement and research initiatives, protocol development, preparing peer-reviewed manuscripts, and partnering with industry collaborators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage funded projects, including application development, budget oversight, and progress reporting to funders.

  • Oversee research, program development, and program evaluation operations, including data analysis, manuscript preparation, and dissemination of findings through publications and presentations.

  • Foster strategic partnerships with industry and academic collaborators to support innovation and program development.

  • Drive initiatives to further innovation in digital mental health and clinical programming.

  • Utilize a public health perspective in research and program development

  • Spearhead program planning and evaluation efforts, including strategic goal setting and quality improvement for clinical outcomes.

  • Engage in the development of training programs to support workforce development.

  • Develop innovative proposals to support existing programming and program expansion.



    Work Location:

    Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

    Minimum Qualifications:



    Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.



    Instructor:

  • Masters in Public Health degree

  • At least 5 years of Program Management experience in healthcare and/or innovation



    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Grant project leadership, including application development and reporting

  • Research oversight, data collection and analysis, and scholarly publication

  • Strategic collaboration with academic, industry, and community stakeholders

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to contribute to scientific writing and knowledge dissemination

  • Program planning and community engagement for institutional development

    Anticipated Pay Range:

    The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

    Instructor: $90,000-105,000

    The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
