Job Summary
A position for a temporary research assistant is available in a multi-disciplinary research group working to understand the neural correlates and mechanisms of anesthetic- and sleep-induced unconsciousness. The primary role of the successful candidate will be analysis of electrophysiological data that will require proficiency in MATLAB, and analysis of rodent sleep-wake data for which training will be provided. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and participate in rodent experiments and data collection, and will be provided with required supervision for the use of MATLAB based analysis of electrophysiological data.

Required Qualifications*
A minimum of bachelor's degree and proficiency in coding and using MATLAB is required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn the basic skills necessary for working in a neuroscience lab.

Desired Qualifications*
Previous experience with data analysis using MATLAB and training in the field of neuroscience.

Additional Information
This position may be filled as part time depending upon the qualifications of the selected candidate.
