The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UW-Green Bay) invites nominations for and applications from individuals interested in assuming an exciting leadership opportunity as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. This position reports to the Chancellor and serves as the Chief Academic Officer and senior member of the Chancellor's Cabinet. This vibrant institution is in the midst of exciting change and dynamic growth, both in physical structure and program array, spearheaded by partnerships with the regional community and international businesses.

Ultimately, all major university issues require the input of, and often action by, the Provost. The Provost is second to the Chancellor in management and leadership responsibility, and leadership of the Provost is essential for the University to meet its urban-serving strategic vision. UW-Green Bay is searching for a Provost who can successfully lead Academic Affairs and the University to meet the demands of a challenging, changing and increasingly competitive higher education landscape.

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is a comprehensive public institution offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs to nearly 8,000 students with campus locations in Green Bay, Marinette, Manitowoc and Sheboygan. Established in 1965, and bordering the bay of Green Bay, the University and its campuses are centers of cultural enrichment, innovation and learning. The Green Bay 750-acre campus is home to one of the Midwest's most beautiful performing arts centers, a nationally recognized 4,000-seat student recreation center, an award-winning nine-hole golf course and a five-mile recreational trail and arboretum, which is free and open to the public. This four-campus University transforms lives and communities through student-focused teaching and research, innovative learning opportunities, powerful community connections and a problem-solving approach to education. UW-Green Bay is centrally located, close to both the Door County resort area and the dynamic economies of Northeast Wisconsin, the Fox Valley region and the I-43 corridor.
