Riverside City College invites applications and nominations for the position of President. The next President will be an accomplished and strategic leader who builds consensus around key initiatives and embraces the diversity of the Riverside community.

Located in Riverside, California, RCC has 20,000 full-time and part-time students. Each year, the College awards more than 4,500 associate degrees and certificates to graduates who either transfer to four-year institutions or directly enter into the workforce. Extensive and meaningful partnerships between RCC and the Riverside community are reflected in the college's programs, facilities, and successes of the student population.

Set in a Mediterranean climate, the city of Riverside is situated in the Inland Empire, one of the most beautiful and fastest growing regions in California. RCC is a part of the Riverside Community College District (RCCD), the fifth largest multi-college District in the state. The RCC President will report directly to the Chancellor and is anticipated to take office in January 2019.

Requirements include a working understanding of the California Higher Education system; an earned doctorate from an accredited institution of education in a subject matter taught at RCC; five or more years of full-time teaching experience in higher education; a record of progressively responsible senior administrative positions in higher education; and experience in managing the financial needs of a large multi-layered organization. Experience in the California Higher Education system and community college experience are preferred.
