Job Description

The University Of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Manager, Student Life Programs. The Manager, Student Life Programs is a key part of the Associated Students of University of Nevada (ASUN) and the Center for Student Engagement (CSE). The Manager, Student Life Programs is responsible for assessing student engagement and advisement of the ASUN Legislative and Judicial branches. The position advises and/or has oversight of all student government initiatives, engaged scholarship, and democratic engagement functions. The position oversees major policy initiatives including the Student Events Advisory Board, clubs, legislative action and ASUN Archives. Critical to the role is compliance with Nevada Open Meeting Law and risk management and liability oversight of student events. This position also supervises administrative faculty and student employees.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and four years of related professional experience OR a Master's degree and two years of related professional experience OR a Doctorate degree.

Related experience: student development in higher education, democratic engagement, advising and management of student organizations.
