Instructional Technician
Everett Community College, Monroe Campus

Are you looking for an opportunity to help college students achieve their goals for higher education? Everett Community College is seeking a classroom and computer lab technician for the East County Campus in Monroe.

  • Assist instructors and students with classroom and computer needs
  • Manage the computer and science labs. Assist and tutor students in lab assignments. May teach the laboratory portion of some classes.
  • Administer standardized tests using various software applications
  • Order, receive and catalog classroom supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with campus web pages, media boards, social media feeds, and other communication channels
  • Assist with marketing materials and digital marketing tools
  • Support outreach and community engagement activities
  • Maintain student files, review student work
  • Assist students with the technology aspects of registration and class enrollment
  • Supervise student assistants

    You will need:
  • Two years of college course work, or an Associate degree in Business Technology or a related field, plus six months of teaching experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert proficiency in the latest versions of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, College Keyboarding,CANVASLMS, Windows 10, Digital Signage software, and basic laptop and desktop use
  • Ability to learn and use newly implemented software and hardware
  • Certified Proctor for Certiport,CASAS, Accuplacer,ACTWork Keys, PearsonVUEAdministration Certification, and/or other testing services; or ability to obtain all required certifications

    It's a plus if you have:
  • Ability to communication in a language, other than English, with current and prospection students and community members.

    Position is 40 hours per week, 11 months per year. Schedule is typically 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday. Work hours will vary and change depending on need. May work some late evenings and occasional weekends. Work location is EvCC East County Campus in Monroe.

    Salary:
    $2,834 to $3,684 per month plus benefits
