Salary:

Salary: $2,500 per month

Note: This position includes full benefits. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Athletic Corporation employees are at-will.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to create all graphic design style and content for the football program as directed by the Director of Player Personnel and Head Coach. Primary duties include the following:

  • Create all graphic design style and content for the football program
  • Establish football brand and logos. Provide in-home visit materials for the month of December and January via Prezi or PowerPoint. Aid in data collection process and building sell points for the program.
  • Manage design, inventory, and reordering of all mailing materials including stationery, envelopes, cards, birthday material, lanyards, and letterhead.
  • Photograph all team activities including practice, workouts, games, and team meetings. Photograph all recruiting-related events including game day, unofficial visits, official visits, junior days, and summer camps.
  • Create brochures and flyers for all program events including summer camps, coaching clinics, signing day events, etc.
  • Provide all in-house items such as player of the week, miscellaneous coach requests, game matchups, and any projects needed by the Head Coach.
  • Provide administrative and operational support, including traditional administrative duties as requested, as well as implementation of new design-related ideas (i.e. printed materials, preparation of presentations, and researching of other ideas to market Fresno State Football).
  • Assist the Director of Player Personnel with logistics for all recruiting related events on and off campus including official visits, unofficial visits, junior days, game days, and summer camps.
  • Create and implement a marketing calendar to recruit prospects over 75-week cycle including strategies for camps, events, and unofficial visits. Research and apply knowledge of industry best practices to maintain the highest standards.
  • Other operational duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be organized, team-oriented, self-motivated, and hard working
  • Must have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Must have experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends required
  • Ability and willingness to support the diversity and equity commitments of the department
  • Commitment to integrity and compliance with University, conference and NCAA regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and project a professional attitude
  • A history of regular attendance and positive performance evaluations

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year institution or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of football experience, knowledge of NCAA rules and/or work in a Division I-A athletic department
  • Computer experience with database and basic Microsoft Office programs
