Job Summary/Basic Function:
Perform cashiering duties for the EvCC Cashiers Office.
Greet students, verify, consolidate and balance cash receipts. Maintain and prepare daily bank reports and deposits. Follow established procedures and remain compliant with college and state policies.
Responsibilities include:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent
Computer experience word processing and spreadsheet
One or more years of experience in cashiering or a closely related fiscally responsible job such as retail sales clerk or bank teller, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, including differences in culture, heritage, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, class, and religion
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some late afternoon and early evening hours
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
Two or more years of cashiering or fiscal work experience
Receptionist or customer service work experience
Bilingual or multi-lingual skills, Spanish preferred

Work Hours: Maximum 69 hours per month. Hours will vary depending on department needs, and will include some late afternoon and early evening office coverage.
