Job Description:

The College of Saint Rose invites applications and nominations for a full-time, tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting in the Huether School of Business to start August 2018.

Responsibilities will include teaching 12 credits per semester of undergraduate and graduate courses in financial and managerial accounting theory (including Principles, Intermediate, Advanced and Graduate), engaging in scholarship, attending internal and external events applicable to the College and the candidate's academic discipline, academic advising, program assessment, curriculum development, and participation in Department, School, and College committees.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an earned Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, commitment to scholarship, and superior written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with successful experience in offering students innovative programs and hands-on experiences, industry experience in Accounting, and background in curriculum development and assessment.

Those applying for the rank of Associate Professor must have earned that rank at a prior institution.
