The Board of Trustees and Christian Brothers University (CBU) community invite applications and nominations for the position of President. CBU's 23^rd President will build on Christian Brothers' rich tradition of Catholic, Lasallian education and lead the University into the future.

Christian Brothers University, a four-year private, coeducational university affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church, was founded in 1871 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers. Located on a 75-acre wooded campus in midtown Memphis, Tennessee along the Mississippi River, CBU is large enough to provide educational opportunities in the arts, business, education, engineering and sciences, yet small enough to promote teaching as ministry and to provide challenging student-centered learning and personal growth. CBU welcomes students into an educational community of faith and service, one that is committed to academic excellence, the betterment of society and the care of God's creation.

With a total enrollment of almost 2,000, CBU awards bachelor's degree programs in engineering, business, sciences, liberal arts, nursing and education as well as master's degree programs in accounting, business administration, education, engineering management, computer information systems, and physician assistant studies. CBU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Christian Brothers University. The President reports to the Board of Trustees and works with the Board in establishing clear direction to guide the institution. The successful candidate for President will be a practicing Catholic, an experienced and accomplished leader and fundraiser with a high level of energy, political savvy, drive, strategic planning acumen, and the engaging personality necessary to achieve ambitious University-wide goals.
