The Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine at University of California, San Diego, Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting a clinically and research-oriented academic gastroenterologist.

The position will be primarily dedicated to conducting outstanding clinical gastroenterology patient care, along with clinical/translation research in the field of neurogastroenterology and motility. Area of focus for this position will be in the esophageal diseases, esophageal motility disorders and pelvic floor disorders. Candidate is expected to have an established research program in the area gastrointestinal motility disorders and pelvic floor disorders. Excellence is teaching is required. Candidate must be BC/BE in Gastroenterology and eligible for a California medical license. Rank and series of appointment will be commensurate with candidates qualifications and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
